MyVest Expands Fixed Income Capabilities in SPS, Building on bondIT Partnership

MyVest has announced a significant expansion of fixed income capabilities in its Strategic Portfolio System™ (SPS), giving bonds the same operational scale, automated rebalancing, and portfolio management support the platform already provides for equities.

The update, now live, adds three capabilities:

• Security-level fixed income order generation
• Fixed income compliance rules
• Expanded fixed income analytics

The release builds on the partnership the two firms launched earlier this year, which brought fixed income model creation and security selection into SPS. Combined, the two pieces complete the full fixed income workflow – from model construction and security selection through analytics, compliance, and order execution — on a single platform.

“Fixed income is experiencing a resurgence in advisor and investor attention,” said Brian Marchiel, Chief Product Officer at MyVest, describing the enhancements as bringing fixed income up to the standard SPS applies to every other asset class in the unified managed account.

For bondIT, the announcement extends a shared goal: removing the operational reasons bonds have been managed as a second-class asset class inside otherwise sophisticated wealth platforms.
